Electronics/ Mechatronics Engineer

Responsible for:

• Design and implementation using Atmel Studio, Image Craft or other professional developing Platform for Atmel microcontrollers.
• Develop and maintain C#, C++ and ANSI C applications firmware.
• PCB design skills using Pcad or Altium Designer.
• Design and deploy of any development test equipment for the required project.
• Develop and maintain test fixtures and associated controls hardware.
• Support electronic testing of prototypes.
• Knowledge of data acquisition, control, and automation.
• Continuous improvement of product quality and reliability through hardware and/or software modifications.
• Troubleshoot problems with electrical functionality for existing products.
• Documentation of processes, equipment, and products as needed.
• Project leadership and management opportunities may be assigned in accordance with departmental needs.
• Responsibility for identifying & scheduling all hardware development tasks in conjunction with the R&D Project Manager.
• Keep up to date with new Standards in the Industry.
