Product Owner

Job Purpose / Summary :

• The job holder is responsible for developing new business opportunities and enhancing the current performance of UPS growth plans in government sector by introducing innovative solutions & Products that serve the growth strategy of UPS. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager the main task is leading the technical team to introduce new concept, increase sales numbers, innovate product offering cycle & establish new markets to see more solutions. This requires 7-10 years of experience.

Main Responsibilities :

1. Education Vertical Development .

• Come up with commercial value add to the current Education plan and develop more business opportunities
• Explore customers’ needs around the world
• Build the Education vertical to become a more profitable
• Support with all needed Marcom material and initiates to reach the targets
• Come up with new innovative solutions/ideas to upsell more services to government customers
• Establish deep understanding with the nature of the Educational Vertical and the challenges and overcome them to serve business growth

2. Organizational Strategies

• Representation of market driven approach in UPS BSC
• Level of organizational alignment with marketing strategies
• Stakeholder buy in of education marketing plans

3. Marketing Plan .

• Timeliness of budget of educational marketing plans
• Budget variance and maintaining it
• Achievement of Marketing plans

4. Support the regional offices to grow and develop their markets .

• Identify areas of business growth within the country and provide plans and initiatives to engage in these areas
• Provide the country with the support in their marketing plans
• Help the country with upselling ideas within existing customer base
