Job Description
- Implement the tax plan for the entire company and ensure proper booking of all tax related issues through reconciling all tax issues.
- Updates the tax provision monthly based on expected tax liability and conduct the vendors` accounts and reflect their payments.
- Review all invoices upon receiving them in the invoice register and review withholding tax due.
- Approve and review withholding tax receipt for each payment and quarterly withholding tax forms for each vendor and tax authority.
- Review payroll summary sheet through reviewing and processing the payroll and social insurance tax and prepare all related journal and payment vouchers.
- Evaluate all procedures related to real estate tax on all company sites and review customs financial settlements and conduct an overview of the monthly closing of financial statements.
- Oversee the relation between the company and taxation authorities.
- Ensure that the company procedures and safety standards are observed.
- Review & approve monthly sales tax declaration, social insurance on vendors, renewal of all insurance policies of the company and company claims against the insurance company
Role Objective
- To ensure the proper execution of tax procedures throughout the company and perform tax performance evaluation for various company departments to resolve any tax related issues.
Job Requirements
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- B.A. degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience.
- Previous Taxation experience.
- Very Good Computer skills, Advanced MS excel is required.
- Very Good in Arabic & English (Reading, Writing & Oral).
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in a Telecommunications company.
- Negotiation skill
