Demand Planning & Purchasing Manager

Opportunity in Saudi Arabia , “ Demand planning and purchasing manager “ is urgently needed

Job duties:

• Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function
• Review historical sales trends and research demand drivers.
• Prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
• Lead the process for identifying, developing, and implementing advanced planning methods, systems, and tools, in order to improve forecast accuracy and inventory management.
• Work with other departments including Operations, New Product Development and Supply Chain to ensure the consistent, cost-effective supply of products to customers
• Manage inventory targets (including safety stock levels) and scrutinize current and future forecasting analysis, insuring forecasting processes and methods are followed properly by Demand Planners.
• Systematize the creation of top-level reports to monitor the purchasing and financial performance indicators by the Planning team.
• Facilitate the Senior Management Forecasting and Inventory management meeting focusing on cross functional communication, direction setting, risk management, and conflict resolution .
• Successfully and accurately control ERP system and processes, from forecast upload to generation of all inventory reporting .
• Prepare the annual purchase budget and plan, and ensure to obtain best accuracy level throughout the year.
• Researching new suppliers & negotiating prices. Perform other duties as assigned by in-charge, able to work overtime when required.
