Job Description
- Deliver high quality, accurate monthly/quarterly technical reports
- Create and manage spreadsheets and databases
- Assist in the preparation of estimates for trends, benchmarks, cost plans and other related activities
- Develop estimate reconciliations as required and verify rates used through our network of supplier and contractors
- Manage and maintain a contact database and establish and maintain close connection with major players in the market
- Participate in estimate and client reviews as required
- Provide input to the estimate risk analysis and provide the clients with contingency recommendations
- Prepare final estimate summaries and analyze each section for scope, pricing, and completeness
- Provide assistance to the business development team as and when needed in preparing proposals and corporate literature
- Research directed at evaluating construction systems and cost driven studies
Job Requirements
Education Background
- Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science or any equivalent discipline.
Knowledge:
- Good working knowledge of MS office and Access
- Knowledge on use of Adobe Indesign, photoshop and illustrator
- Knowledge of construction industry practices and procedures is preferable but not required
Skills:
- Ability to collect and process large amounts of technical and statistical information, translate it into actionable insights and communicate it to non-technical audiences
- Ability to be concise and conduct clear, impactful presentations
- Excellent research and data analysis skills
