Job Description

  • Research , devise and manage unique SEO strategies for a range of clients in a host of industries
  • Manage all aspects of the agency’s SEO offering, including on-site techniques, link building, blogging, content marketing, online PR, technical SEO – crawl errors, data mark up, XML sitemaps etc.
  • Carry out SEO reviews for key clients, focusing on both on-page and off-page SEO – deliver technical documentation for on-site recommendations
  • Manage a team of SEO Executives to deliver effective campaigns for clients
  • Work with the Content Manager and Social Media Manager to devise an effective digital strategy which works across a range of platforms
  • Work with your team of SEO Executives to monitor clients’ backlink profiles and take action as necessary to protect against algorithmic
  • Work with your team of SEO Executives and use Google Analytics and other analytical programs to deliver key campaign performance reports to clients on a monthly basis
  • Responsible for the strategic development and management of new and existing initiatives that will drive traffic, conversion, revenue growth and profitability for the online channel. Works closely with IT, Marketing and Merchandising.
  • Prioritize and mange optimization efforts to drive search metrics and rankings
  • Manage Third party relationships and optimizations
  • Takes lead on SEO Projects organization across IT, Marketing and Merchandising
  • Creates Link Strategies and coordinates with Content, Merchandising and IT to ensure growth in Domain Authority
  • Manages Domains across the organization in partnership with IT to enhance the SEO position of AutoZone
  • Responsible for International SEO development, coordination and internal consulting
  • Leverages Google Console to understand and take tactical action to ensure SEO rank remains unchanged and improves
  • Identifies Techinical Opportunities to enhance SEO rankings
  • Measures and analyzes impact of existing functionality.
  • Identifies opportunities to innovate and improve, providing additional benefitsto the customer.
  • Builds strong internal relationships
  • Work closely with Store Operations to identify opportunities and drive execution to resolve
  • Work closely with web site analysts to understand the impact of all SEO activities and to understand hurdle rates for new activities.
  • Identify opportunities for improving the customer experience and work with the web development team to implement
  • Partners with Paid Digital teams to enhance search and drive sales
  • Partners with and develops process and reports to ensure accuracy of data and its presentation
  • Participates with the business on use case situations to enhance catalog presentations and solutions
  • Partners with the Auto Zone Content and Catalog teams developing process that ensure SEO value and optimizations

Job Requirements

  • 3+ Years with SEO Management background in a multi-channel retail environment
  • BA degree in relevant quantitative fields.
  • Experience in web statistics, marketing, and business development.
  • Experience with A/B testing and other testing metrics.
  • Adequate knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide evidence-based recommendations.
  • In-depth knowledge of current SEO tools and practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English language.
  • Expertise with Omniture, Google Analytics, DMP and Tag management for SEO solutions
  • SEMRush, SimliarWeb, Comscore, MOZ
