Job Description

  • Capacity Planning: Works directly with production engineering groups at each site to understand their manufacturing capability. Analyzes the production requirements and equipment limitations to establish production volume & model allocation between sites. Works directly with Business Planning to understand the business implications for site selection for each product.
  • Facility Planning: Creates macro level plant & facility plans, evaluates current plant conditions and designs options to move toward the future plan. Works to improve the future plan. Leads / directs project team to achieve future plan. Coordinates discussion for approval of plant changes through top management. Decide how to place things in different sites, support engineering management to visualize the current condition of each facility & space availability.
  • Project Leader: Confirm project schedules and follow-up with responsible individuals to maintain implementation of projects and minimize risk.
  • Planning and coordinating the processes for strategic planning and reporting cycle and the annual operational planning and reporting cycle, including budgeting and financial follow-up and internal control and risk management and follow-up, and the quarterly reporting, including financial follow-up.
  • Disseminating, and if necessary, further elaborating, agency-wide instructions and timelines for planning and reporting.
  • Organizing and communicating the planning and reporting processes: dividing responsibilities and setting timelines for deliverables and steps of the process, ensuring timely delivery of quality assured plans, budgets and reports.
  • Training and supporting staff, ensuring that instructions, responsibilities, timelines and deliverables are well understood.
  • Participating in relevant task- or working groups
  • Assisting in the development and/or improvement of routines, tools or systems for monitoring evaluation, accountability and learning, as feasible and required

Job Requirements

  • BSc degree in Engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience and in-depth understanding of strategic and operational planning and reporting.
  • Experience of internal control and risk management.
  • Experience of process-oriented work.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
