Job Description

  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
  • Maintain the financial health of the organization.
  • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans
  • Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
  • Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.
  • Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
  • Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
  • Providing business support through budgeting, forecasting, and models to the operational teams within the company
  • Ownership over building out the finance function, including implementation of systems, processes, and controls
  • Bookkeeping, payments, payroll, VAT, administration tasks
  • Establishing and maintaining a strong internal control environment over the company's accounting, financial and regulatory procedures
  • Ownership of day to day financial accounting, reporting and control (daily client money calculations, balance sheet reconciliations, liquidity monitoring, etc)
  • Preparation of monthly management and financial accounts
  • Providing financial support and analysis to all parts of the business to support data-driven decision-making
  • Acting as the main point of contact for the firm's external and internal auditors for both statutory and regulatory audit purposes
  • Improving efficiency and effectiveness of finance activities and reporting through automation and detailed analytics

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years experience at the same position preferred in Real Estate Investment & Contracting.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
  • Excellent dealing with advanced ERP program.
  • Professional qualification such as CPA is an Asset.

  • Able to Build, manage, guide and lead team to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Very Good English Language
  • Excellent knowledge of financial reporting standards
  • Financial analysis & modeling skills. This role requires a hands on approach and the individual must be comfortable in rolling up her/his sleeves and diving in.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics or related field.
