Job Description
As a translator, you will convert written material from one or more ' languages' into the 'target language' English <> Arabic, making sure that the translated version conveys the meaning of the original as clearly as possible.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assists with creating language-specific translation resources.
- Writes and translate clear, persuasive, original copy for landing pages and products. Revises, and rewrites product information on both pre and post produced content to ensure Arabic catalog as well as maintain Arabic value characters for consistent site navigation & product search reach.
- Conducts regular quality and performance translation reviews.
- Translation of 2500/3000 words per day, according to the type of category
- Convey the meaning of text rather than the exact words of the source text
- Review and fix any spelling mistakes
- Responsible of any Linguistic issues
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- University degree in English Language
- 0-3 years of experience in translation
- Have a good command of both English and Arabic
- Previous experience in E-commerce field is a plus.
- Be a part of a team
- Full Time
- Has experience assessing skills and providing written feedback. Possesses Arabic and English written skills.
- Ability to use one of the CAT tools (trados, memoQ, Wordfast,...) is a plus
Working Hours:
- From 9 AM to 6 PM (including one hour break) all days except Friday and Saturday.
