Job Description
- The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the project success in terms of achieving all project phases with high quality, minimum cost, and within the project time frame.
- Identifies Resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities to carry out the project deliverables successfully with complete customer satisfaction.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope to ensure of applying the company project management methodology on all project deliverables to be complete, verified, accurate, current, and stored appropriately.
- The Senior Project Manager is responsible to construct, advice, lead, follow-up, and motivate the project team members to work together in the most efficient manner and with fullest potential.
- The Senior Project Manager ensures effective communication with the stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
- It is the responsibility of the Project Manager to secure acceptance and approval of deliverables from the customers.
- Defines project scope, goals and deliverables that support business requirements in collaboration with management and stakeholders.
- Effectively communicates project Deliverables, expectations, and scope to the team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Develops, verifies requirements and analysis documents and ensures their quality and accurate coverage of the project scope.
- Explores different technical topics and tools to assess the feasibility of the given requirements.
- Offers suggestions for improvement/simplification of the systems and/or add business value.
- Provides effort estimates of software modules and components.
- Develops, submits, and presents projects technical and financial proposals.
- Oversees the design process, contributes with design suggestions or constraints for the module(s) within the framework of the system architecture and infrastructure.
- Reviews and validates design and design documents to ensure their compliance with the project requirements.
- Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential applications on project engagements.
- Understands the capabilities and risks of existing infrastructure technologies.
- Coaches, provides regular on-target feedback to team members on their performance, related to quality of work and/or adhering to company policies.
- Identifies and resolves issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Ensures that team members update the "Skills Repository" with: lessons learned, investigation output, new Technologies, material, skills learned...etc.
- Delegates tasks and responsibilities to appropriate resources whenever needed.
- Leads and manages full project lifecycle from initiation and planning to closure according to the project timelines, cost, and quality.
- Follows the company’s project management methodology and IT industry standards.
- Develops and maintains full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Plans, schedules and tracks project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
