Job Description
- Manage new material evaluations and build expertise and database for Raw Materials.
- Develop and modify existing or new products in alignment with the product families.
- Analyze research data and proposed product specifications to determine product feasibility proposal.
- Perform and develop R&D functions in selecting new applications, materials, manufacturing methods, experimental design validity and test programs.
- Develop product standards and production specifications, safety and sanitary regulations, and waste management.
- Ensure BOM validity and availability.
- Manage and validate product prototypes, industrial designs, approved materials, and process parameters for production and quality departments. Manage Trade Marketing registration for licensing activities.
- Study and plan for new projects (feasibility study, financial offers, technical offer).
- Implementation all required validation test on a product according to customer requirements (thermal performance tests, destructive tests, and durability tests).
- Review the design plan to produce acceptable products.
- Review all the outputs of the departments before being ready for issuing through document control dep.
- Lead key projects with R&D to support business goals.
- Develop concepts, products, and solutions by coordinating with Orthopedics business units.
- Support Director to hire and develop R&D personnel.
- Transfer new technologies, products, and manufacturing process into and out of the company.
- Research, design and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes and equipment.
- Suggest training tools to enhance employee performance and skill development.
- Develop concepts, products, and solutions by working with company business units.
- Monitor team metrics and objectives ensuring meeting of goals.
- Document all phases of research and development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Pharmacy is must
- 12+ years of experience in R&D with a PHD in pharma.
