Job Description
- Leads One or Two Business Lines/Product Categories from End to End both, locally and internationally.
- Responsible for Categories P&L (Revenues, Gross Profits and Net Profits).
- Helps the Marketing Director with Strategizing for the Assigned Categories.
- Acts as the Categories Custodian in the organization.
- Leads the New Product Development Calendar and Products Road Map in Coordination with Marketing Research, Research & Development, Design Team and Manufacturing Team.
- Manages the different marketing mix elements (Product, Packaging, Promotions, Placement, Pricing) for the assigned categories
- Manages the Marketing calendar for his assigned categories across the globe, in coordination with Marketing Director.
- Briefs MARCOM manager with his categories' business needs and priorities, revises his media and creative proposals and approves them in alignment with Marketing Director.
- Provides support for Regional Sales Manager and Local Sales teams to help them achieve sales targets in their respective markets.
- Lead the Marketing Research projects for his assigned categories, in coordination with Marketing Research Manager
Job Requirements
- Minimum 10 years Brand and Category Management Experience at a well reputed FMCG, Telecom or Consumer Electronics origination.
- Typically, at a Group Brand Manager/ Marketing Manager level currently, managing a portfolio of products/brands under one or more categories.
- A solid marketing and brand management executive who has a holistic approach to marketing and can see the bigger picture.
- Excellent with numbers, with a sold P&L management background.
- Robust marketing mix management experience with proven record is running successful product, packaging, pricing, promotions, and placement initiatives.
- Previous "New Product Development" exposure and proven record of building new products/brands.
- Strong Launch and Re-Launch previous experience.
- Strong exposure to Marketing Research with ability to write thorough research briefs and an analytical eye to insights and findings.
- Strong media and creative development exposure, with ability to assess and coach media and creative agencies proposals.
- Strong exposure to sales and distribution management techniques and proven history of effective collaboration with sales teams.
- Updated with Digital and Social Media latest techniques and effective strategies.
- A natural leader and a great team player with a "can do" attitude.
- Self-starter who can roll up sleeves and jump into execution.
- An accommodating self-motivator with a positive attitude for change and a strong determination to improve things.
