Job Description

As our footprints are growing, it’s important that we bring in the right talent! Therefore we are searching for an HR Generalist to come and help us expand our office.

We're looking for an HR Generalist responsible for providing a wide range of HR support functions including payroll administration, employee relations, training, performance management, on-boarding, policy implementation, staffing, and employment law compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as primary contact for assigned departments in assisting employees with inquiries related to human resource issues
  • Identify and implement programs that support positive employee relations
  • Process payroll
  • Conduct onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain employee personnel files and information
  • Co-manage employee benefits program
  • Aide in administering compensation program
  • Work closely with senior leaders, engineering teams to support key culture projects and initiatives.
  • Talent Acquisition including building (recruiting) amazingly talented individuals.
  • Design and develop appropriate messaging, communications, events and workshops that creatively reinforces our unique values and culture.
  • Develop a process for helping orient new team members in a way that appropriately sets context and community and immediately lets them share their talents and point of view.
  • Measure and provide feedback on the organization’s culture and work with leadership to determine actionable steps towards the desired culture.
  • Create the structure for recognition and acknowledgement that allows the entire office to perform without much guidance.
  • Ensure engineers are sharing and collaborating across divisions.

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR (Master’s degree preferred)
  • At least 3 years of experience in people operations, talent or culture design
  • Knowledge of professional ethics, laws, and regulations and state-of-the-art principles and theories of HR management
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
  • You understand that a company’s most important asset is its employees, and identifying, recruiting and retaining talented individuals is critical to our success.
  • You despise slow bureaucratic tactics and look to evolve new ways and tactics to solve today's business, Ops, and HR challenges.
  • You enjoy critical debate that focuses not on who is right, but rather what is best for the team and the current culture.
  • You are highly independent and seek out the inspiration and feedback from others to always drive towards the best solution.
  • Excellent communication skills including demonstrated success collaborating across disciplines, and different ways of thinking.
  • Adept at managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and keeping multiple processes on track.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Slack, GitHub, and other collaboration/documentation tools.
  • Familiar with how tech companies operate is a plus.
