Job Description
One of our clients is a UAE based company just started operating in Egypt, they are looking for a Senior Quality Control Engineer who will be responsible for:
- Testing of the company's platform. Platform consists of desktop and mobile websites and iOS and Android applications.
- Your primary focus will be the testing of staging and production versions of our code to ensure the best customer experience for their e-commerce business.
- You will work directly with their team of engineers to debug their software and with their business team to list their bugs and issues and ensure they are addressed rapidly.
- You will be reporting directly to the CTO.
Job Duties:
- Design and execute test cases and test scenarios
- Verify that implemented software meets the business requirements
- Perform functional and UI testing for new or modified features based on quality and usability standards
- Record and document results and compare to expected results.
- Suggest functionality improvements based on usability standards

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in software testing
- Thorough understanding of software testing methodologies, QA tools and Agile principles
- Attention to details
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously
- Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated
- Knowledge of software testing automation and the ability to automate our product software testing
- Relevant work experience in development and/or testing role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Time management and priority handling skills
- Database skills, mainly in MySQL
