Job Description
Job Purpose:
- Responsible for plant operation and maintenance and coordinates all plant departments and their respective operations.
- Establishes plant policies and procedures in coordination with the president and is responsible for setting plant production goals.
- Establishes and maintains community relations and fosters a well-trained and motivated staff.
Major Responsibilities :
- Directs and coordinates plant operations within company policies and procedures of all plant functions.
- Establishes and maintains appositive or organizational atmosphere.
- Establishes and directs plant policies and procedures.
- Responsible for setting and attaining plant production goals.
- Fosters a well-trained and motivated staff.
- Approves employee performance reviews.
- Schedules and conducts plant meetings with department managers.
- Accountable for manufacturing costs, quality and production quantities.
- Manages the effective use of production hours, skills, equipment and facilities.
- Works closely with plant management personnel to develop and implement strategies for operational improvement.
- Drives cost reduction and continuous improvement concepts and projects to achieve annual goals.
- Approves production plans and schedules, requirements and manufacturing controls as related to manufacturing operation
- Responsible for determination of hazards, risk factors, environmental aspects and their evaluation.
- Responsible for compliance with legal and other requirements in his department.
- Commitment to emergency plan execution.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences is a must.
- Not less than 15 years of experience in a pharmaceutical company is a must.
- Master Degree or Ph.D. in pharmaceutical field is preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of technical service practices, procedures, and production support activities.
- Familiar with all facets of the manufacturing process.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Familiar with Oracle ERP system.
- Proficient in the English language.
