Essential:
- PHP
- MVC Frameworks: Symfony is a huge plus
- Design Patterns
- JavaScript, JQuery
- HTML5
- Computer Science/Engineering background is preferred
Job Requirements
General Job Requirements :
- Bachelor degree in computer science/engineering or relevant
- 2 years+ experience in backend development using PHP
- Strong understanding of PHP frameworks: Zend, Symfony, ...etc
- Excellent experience in database design and administration (MySQL) including query optimization, performance, and scalability
- Good knowledge of coding best practices and design patterns; especially for web and mobile development
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools; such as Git, Mercurial or SVN
- Write "clean", well designed code
- Demonstrated successful ability to integrate with the team and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams
- Proactive to identify opportunities and issues, and embraces accountability
- Ability to multitask, manage, prioritize and produce results quickly and keen to learn
- Good business level in English & Arabic languages
