Job Description
- Design and build high quality, advanced applications for iOS platform.
- Deal with previousely-developed applications, read the documentation, navigate the code, debug it and modify it to add/remove features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features including app-security related features.
- Work with outside data sources and API’s.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing, application profiling and performance optimization.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Proficient in Swift and Cocoa Touch
- Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data and Core Location.
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Familiarity with third part APIs, cloud message APIs and push notifications Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
- Solid knowledge of different development platforms and the full mobile development life cycle.
- Experience with Version control system (TFS, Git, SVN, etc.) Knack for benchmarking and optimization
Preferences
- Has published at least 2 original/native iOS applications.
- Experience in developing applications for WIFI given iOS limitations.
- Experience with creation of SDKs.
- Experience dealing with platforms like Atlassian's Confluence/Jira is a plus.
- Knowledge of Linux and networking, specially wireless, is a great plus.
