Job Description
- Senior Purchasing Specialist will be assigned a team of Junior Purchasing specialist, will be responsible for managing their performance, coaching the team and guiding them to right channels and processes to perform purchasing orders efficiently and effectively.
- Our candidate will be managing the Supply Chain process - will ensure compliance of Sales team requests to process and basic needs. And ensures Purchasing team response within defined SLAs.
- Navigating the market for best vendor's prices.
- Negotiate offered prices to get best valued offer that helps company to price right for highest profitability.
- Placing orders on credit payment basis, avoiding on spot cash purchase orders to avoid impacts on cash flow.
- Close loop with Sales team, responds with updates, tries to negotiate delivery, prices and quotation terms to match purchasing updates.
- To be fully aware of warehouse's stock and on shelf items prior to placing purchase orders.
- Close loop with Financial team.
Job Requirements
- Our Senior Purchasing Specialist should come with +5 years of experience in similar career within Information Technology sector with a wide powerful vendors connection & understanding about market and purchasing process.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar field.
