Job Description
- The GIS Web Developer is responsible for performing analysis, design, coding, testing, verification, validation, and maintenance of web-based GIS applications.
- Analyzes and documents software requirements, prepare design specifications, develops software, creates and implements test plans and installation.
- Uses knowledge of software lifecycle processes to ensure quality applications are designed, tested and delivered.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Geography, GIS, or related field.
- 2+ years’ experience, with a strong experience with JavaScript framework or API development.
- A proficiency in HTML,
- Agile Scrum / Kanban awareness
- Strong web development experience with ESRI ArcGIS product suite (including ArcGIS Server).
- Experience with SQL databases is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, verbal and written communication, design, development, and debugging skills.
- Experience working in Java based environment is a plus.
- Should be a self-starter with good communication skills & work independently with minimum supervision
