Job Description
- Investigate and analyze product to ensure the highest quality standards are met
- Investigate customer concerns and non-conformance issues
- Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data
- Create documented quality standards for each product type
- Execute process improvement ideas and implement
- Perform detailed analysis to find preventive actions to avoid re-occurrence of quality concerns
- Actively communicate corrective actions from investigations and confirm with all team members the changes
- Perform routine audit checks of incoming product per schedule
- Submit weekly quality reports and status updates of all activity
- Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities
Job Requirements
- Must have a thorough knowledge of Quality Inspection processes, procedures and best practices
- Bachelor degree strongly preferred or 5-7 years’ experience will be considered
- Attention to Detail
- Decision Making
- Must have good PC skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience entering, tracking and analyzing data.
- Experience with ISO, Six Sigma, 5 S and LEAN is a plus
- Effective communication skills (Written and Verbal), and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and tasks
- Possesses excellent analytical problem-solving skills
- Able to operate light industrial equipment a plus
