Job Description

  • Study the project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, BOQ, etc.).
  • Study and prepare requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction.
  • Following up the submittals status
  • Planning and preparing project documents & forms and updating it regularly in liaison with the Project Manager.
  • Obtaining permits, badges and access requests in advance
  • Review sub-contractors' shop drawings as well as outsourced shop drawings and coordinate their approval process with the project consultant.
  • Coordinate with Surveying Engineer to provide him all the information about land coordinates and any site measurement required.
  • Participate in solving/reporting any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise during construction to the Technical Office Manager for discussion and proper solve.
  • Update the shop drawing log before sending the shop drawing to consultant for approvals.
  • Issuing the purchase and sub-contractors requests
  • Assists with preparing change order.
  • Tracking change orders
  • Maintaining as-built as work is completed.
  • Documenting project issues/conditions
  • Maintaining organized and detailed project records
  • Issuing owner, sub - contractors, and suppliers’ invoices.
  • Preparing all data and info. For progress reports and project final report.
  • Checking the quality records of the work executed with quality manager.
  • Prepare as-built drawings at the end of the project and hand over to the project consultant.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil Department / Architecture)
  • 5-7 years of relative experience
  • Good up to date technical knowledge.
  • Good computer skills especially in Microsoft Office applications/Primavera.
  • Good knowledge of project management
  • Compliance with company procedures and policies.
  • Ability to plan and organize self and work in order to achieve objectives and targets.
  • Knowledge of Standard & specifications.
  • Familiar with AutoCAD.
