Job Description
- We are looking for an experienced Female educator/ qualified teacher, to manage/work at our High standard Kindergarten.
- You will have responsibility of all sections and work alongside our committed teaching team on all aspects of the EYFS curriculum.
- You should be full of creative ideas, have a good sense of responsibility and bags of enthusiasm.

- To be responsible for and to oversee the day to day management, staffing, administration, organization and smooth running of the Kindergarten
- To be responsible at all times for high standards of care and education of children in accordance with standard requirements
- To share and promote the Kindergarten’s commitment to safeguard children and young people following its prescribed policy and procedures to continuously develop a culture of safeguarding within the kindergarten
- To develop the Kindergarten’s ethos within a welcoming and family friendly environment and work in partnership with parents and other family members
- To ensure the EYFS is delivered effectively and its principles are adhered to within the setting
- To ensure effective communication between the Kindergarten staff and all partner organizations
- To oversee the efficient upkeep of the building and maintenance/stock of equipment, furnishings and fittings in the Kindergarten
- To be responsible for admissions in line with the Kindergarten’s admissions policy
- To keep a register and up to date records of all children using the provision and to give regular feedback to parents about their child’s development and progress
- To ensure that the progress of children is monitored and regularly updated through the use of an assessment tracking system.
- To be responsible for the organizing, training and monitoring of staff including apprentices and students
- To provide regular reports on the development of the Kindergarten to the Leadership Board.
Job Requirements
- You should be highly qualified and experienced in Early Years practice.
- Be passionate about giving children the best start and reaching their potential
- Have an excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Development Matters and Statutory Framework.
- Have strong leadership qualities to be able to lead a staff team in order to improve outcomes for children and the quality of the environment
- Be able to plan and provide a safe environment, and effective curriculum for the appropriate age and stage group of children
- Be able to carry out the role of the Kindergarten Director in his/her absence
