Job Description
Procurement and Purchasing Specialist
Job Description:
- Purchase the highest quality at the lowest possible price and
fastest Delivery.
- Obtain and Analyze price proposals from multiple suppliers
According to project requirements
- Evaluate ( with Pre-sales team) suppliers based on price, quality,
- Selection, service against project scope & negotiate all terms
- Create purchase orders based on requisitions received and follow up
- Receiving with warehouse team and Project Management team.
- Timely in following up on contracts and checking on back ordered items
- Monitor vendor progress and contracts in the process; verify the
- quality of service provided and adherence to contract terms.
- Keeping track of historical database as a reference.
- Maintain suppliers and subcontractors relationships and contracts
- Prepare weekly reports
- Record and update purchasing document into the system or database
Job Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in engineering.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in “Purchasing & Procurement”
- Good knowledge of Light Current Systems.
- Large projects experience.
- Good command of English
- Strong negotiation skill
- Good knowledge of email, internet and Microsoft office.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Excellent Presentation skills.
- Good reporting skills.
- Team player, task focused, flexible and proactive.
