Position Description

  • Opportunity with MPG -- Online Business development Manager - eCommerce.

Position Summary

  • You will be fully responsible for developing and growing the eCommerce business across Importers, distributors & wholesales internationally.
  • The BB/RL brand ambitions call for aggressive growth targets per year and role is accountable for delivering sales volume, value & profit targets.
  • This role will build and manage existing and new eCommerce customer relationships and drive multi-functional, multi-level stewardship and influencing of the plan.
  • Lead Sales long range planning process and annual joint business planning process for eCommerce including identifying sales strategy, forecast, budget, product launches, SKU mix, pricing structure, promotion planning, margin and TP contracts; oversees plan execution and adherence to plan.
  • Works side-by-side with ecomm marketing to develop and deliver a comprehensive and cohesive plan to drive consumer journey from awareness through to conversion and loyalty.
  • Work closely with other Sales Managers, distributors/TPs, trade marketing, marketing and Product Supply/Demand planning to ensure business receives relevant support and timely product delivery. Specifically, holds TPs accountable to KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop eCommerce growth plan in conjunction with ecomm marketing.
  • Develop & manage Sr. level eCommerce customer relationship such as Alibaba by implementing Joint Business Plan (JBP) with eAMPS & ecomm marketing.
  • Deliver against financial goals for eCommerce acct.
  • Develop strong foundation: store operations, assortment, digital shelf, pricing, etc. and drive against the platform levers (e.g. content, store performance metrics, seo visibility, conversion, etc.)
  • Jointly develop traffic->conversion plans with marketing. Rapid test & learn using analytics to adapt plans.
  • Win key merchandising windows with creative proactive plans.
  • Develop & manage eCommerce strategic plan across all other ecomm sites (managed by MPG)
  • Own the customer relationship development plan across all sites, but with particular focus on JD.
  • Ensure foundation is set and that the plan connections are made (right demand tactics connected through to conversion)
  • Drive culture of "plan-execute-learn-pivot" with direct reports and on the team as a whole.

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Business BA Degree minimum.
  • Minimum of 7+ years eCommerce sales experience with a proven track record of developing eCommerce business expansion plans including identifying, negotiating, and managing customer relationships.
  • Additional 5+ years in sales management roles desired.
  • Prior experience managing Alibaba and JD etc...
  • Experience in Food and Beverage.
  • Experience managing an ecommerce.
  • Experience in working for a Multination or International FMCG company is a MUST.

  • Ability to contribute to the overall business operation as part of the regional senior team.
