Job Description

  • Support the development of Procurement strategies and practices that enhance the achievement of productivity and business growth
  • Responsible for the work integration, business plan implementation and setting the purchasing budget with the finance department
  • Manage and Control the planning and purchasing daily activities from receiving the sales forecast to the delivery of the product including import and export activities
  • Managing the supply and Demand process monthly S&OP, MRP process, and maintaining the targeted inventory level
  • Building the strategic suppliers with the purchasing department and Lead negotiation efforts in the local and foreign market
  • Manage the full procure to pay cycle, review and approve all the Purchase orders
  • Building suppliers data base and the competitive edge for each supplier to have a systematic approach for ordering process based on the purchasing ethical standards
  • Responsible for improving the business quality through the work methods, procedures and business processes to achieve the value added chain by eliminating all the non-added values steps in the chain
  • Responsible for achieving the Procurement metrics in terms of Quality, cost and Delivery
  • Managing the government relations, and employees performance and KPIs
  • Fulfilling Environmental Health and Safety, ISO 14000, and ISO 9000 requirements
  • Managing the importation processes including the customs clearance of goods to assure the on time goods availability and optimizing the cost and the bank transfers
  • Establish, plan, organize, traine the staff, and support the organization in the implementation of the business plans
  • Managing the Procurement and planning staff for achieving the department objective and enhance the team work spirit
  • Manage and control the filling system with the related documents
  • Be a role model for management leadership in terms of human resources management, customer satisfaction, quality approach, business process management for achieving the company financial results and en leadership direction across functional basis
  • Responsible for submitting all the reports and dashboard required concerning the procurement and planning to the management for managing the company
  • Managing the running projects within the Procurement and planning function and ensure the continuous improvement of such function.

Job Requirements

  • Having very good leadership and team building skills
  • Having a strategic thinking and how to implement the strategies into actions
  • Having excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem solving skills
  • Custom rules and banking transfers experience in export and import activities
  • MS Office and any ERP program for Supply Chain Applications Preferable SAP
