Job Description

Position Summary:

  • Reports to the Finance manager, Responsible for Examination of financial records or processes, Analyzing business or financial data, Calculation of tax information and Preparation of financial documents, reports, or budgets.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.
  • Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
  • Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.
  • Compare suppliers&bills with bids and purchase orders to verify accuracy.
  • Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports and price lists.
  • Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary.
  • Maintain knowledge of all organizational and governmental rules affection purchases, and provide information about these rules to organization staff members and to vendors
  • Develop, implement, modify, and document record keeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
  • Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.
  • Maintain or examine the records of government agencies.
  • Advise clients in areas such as compensation, employee health care benefits, the design of accounting or data processing systems, or long-range tax or estate plans.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
  • Provide internal and external auditing services for businesses or individuals.
  • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments,and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
  • Advise management about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree and 4-6 years related experience required,
  • Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial
    markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data
