Job Description

  • Allocate available resources according to Project/s needs and priorities.
  • Allocate and determine mobilization requirements for future and running contracts.
  • Develop and implement advanced execution practices.
  • Ensure all Departments under control are able to meet and maintain project requirements.
  • Encourage and support the implementation of construction best practice across all areas managed.
  • Facilitates all the project/s required facilities before and during execution phase as per the project contract conditions to ensure controlling the project deliverables at the schedule milestones till project closure phase.
  • Plans, staff, and supervise all assigned work unit activities through subordinate managers to ensure a cohesive operational unit.
  • Responsible for developing strong field force including apprentices, labor foremen, in conjunction with the general superintendent as well as project managers and superintendents.
  • Monitoring availability and flow of personnel as well as hiring, motivating and assigning teams to projects.
  • Coordinates and confers with professional staff to resolve operating problems and difficulties, and authorize department operational procedures within corporate framework. Serves as management team member.
  • In conjunction with the project managers and construction manager, responsible for maintaining good working relationships and promoting good public relations with the Owners, consultants, contractors and the community.
  • Performs additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.

Job Requirements

  • Engineering Degree
  • 10-15 years of experience in Civil
  • Good computer skills especially in Microsoft Office applications/Primavera.
  • Good negotiation and leadership ability and skills.
  • Acceptable level of Organizational skills.
  • Team work oriented.
  • Strong organizing and planning ability.
  • Ability to lead and inspire direct reports and more general workforce.
  • Decisive with problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Proven budgeting and resource management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with different cultures.
  • Good project planning and execution skills.
