Job Description

  • Responsible for administration of project contracts (Evaluation, negotiation, execution and follow-up) whether standard forms or adhoc ones.
  • Ensure that the tender document terms are communicated to all relevant parties to provide proper awareness to all conditions may affect the pricing, preparation of technical offer & issuance of relevant bank guarantees,
  • Prepare the contractual clarifications to be submitted with the offer, follow up the client feedback regarding theses clarification and conduct the further negotiations till reaching the final agreed draft of the contract, and the signature.
  • Ensure the proper implantation of the contract according to time and budget constraints, and provide the necessary guidance & support to mitigate the impact of any time/ cost variance plus Review of Periodical reports – Progress, Risk Analysis, Cost, Cash flow..
  • Follow up and maintain the contractual records and correspondences of the projects in hand,
  • Prepare and review the claims/ counter-claims in connection with the projects,
  • Ensure the contract close-out (TOC, retention, LGs..etc) in proper manner, and the application of any granted extension or renewal to the contract.

Job Requirements

Desired Skills And Experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
  • Professional Courses in Contracts administration and construction law will be a plus.
  • Contractual & Legal Aspects in Construction (CLAC)
  • Contract Administration (CAPM)

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of Experience in Contract Administration for Construction Projects.

Skills And Knowledge:

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (Fluent French is a plus).
  • Computer literate.
  • Familiar with FIDIC contract forms.
