Job Description
- Managing daily patient needs to assure high level of service quality and satisfaction
- Negotiate the cases with the health care providers (hospitals, pharmacies, labs,...)
- Respond to prior approvals requests with approval/rejection based upon the case
- Her/his objective is to facilitate timely delivery and patient access to the various health care services.
- Advise on recommended actions based upon good medical practices
- Adhere to the agreed service level time to ensure a good quality of service delivered
- Ensure that all medical information is kept confidential
- Communication with account executives/managers to help them responding to medical inquiries
- Reviewing incoming/outgoing pre-authorization requests
- Service facilitation to insured members
- Day to day tasks as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree of Medicine & Surgery is a MUST.
- Very Good command of English Language.
- From 0 to 2 years of experience in health care industry.
- Fresh Graduates can apply (only if the internship was finished).
- Excellent verbal Communication skills.
- Must be computer literate.
- People-oriented, result driven and good decision making skills are required.
- Ability of commitment to a full time/shift based job (40 hrs./week).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous Experience as a Medical Approvals doctor or in Medical Insurance field is an asset.
- For Males, Military Service should be completed/exempted.
