Job Description
The logistics coordinator is responsible for processing the orders in a timely manner from different departments and different brands. It’s a key position in our organization.
Duties:
- Reviews ordered items with sales coordinators.
- Reviews delivery dates with suppliers.
- Arranges shipments for ready orders in a timely manner.
- Contacts shipping companies for best freight offers.
- Follows up the goods from sailing to warehouse arrival.
- Ensures documents are as requested for shipment clearance.
- Confirms shipments’ invoices date and due dates accuracy.
- Updates suppliers’ orders sheets on daily basis.
- Communicate with departments about orders arrival dates.
- Responds to suppliers regarding shipments and invoices.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics or commerce.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a logistics coordinator.
- Accounting background.
- Fluent spoken and written English and Arabic.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong ability to follow up on duties.
- Organizational and time management skills.
