Job Description
- Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
- Develop lesson plans
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
- Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities
- Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students' varying needs
- Use relevant technology to support instruction
- Observe and evaluate employees performances and development
- Assign and grade class work, homework, tests, and assignments
- provide appropriate feedback on employees’ progress
- Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development
- Participate in department meetings
- keep updated with developments in subject area, teaching resources and methods and make relevant changes to instructional plans and activities
- Prepare tests, examination papers, and exercises
- Devise, write and produce supplementary materials, including audio and visual resources
- Attend and contribute to teacher development training sessions
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
Language School graduate - International certification will be an asset ( TEFL, TESOL, CELTA…)
- Relevant teaching experience from 2-3 years
- Curriculum development knowledge will be an asset
- Knowledge of relevant technology (including MS Office applications)
