Job Description
- Issues purchase orders to foreign vendors and suppliers.
- Corresponds with foreign suppliers to get price offers.
- Corresponds with foreign suppliers on delivery schedules and terms of payment
- Notifies the designated department to effect insurance if required.
- Liaises with freight forwarders who make freight and space bookings with airline or shipping companies.
- Contacts senders to rectify shortages or to arrange replacement of damaged goods.
- Maintains records of receipts and ensures that imported item has been delivered.
- Communicates with foreign suppliers for any inquiries or complaints that may arise.
- Undertakes clerical work such as filing, preparing correspondence and issuing weekly reports.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in - Chemistry or Pharmaceutical sciences is preferred
- Graduate of languages school is a must with high command of English literacy
- Not less than 3 Years of Professional Experience in Foreign Purchasing in the Pharmaceutical industry ,Cosmetics or FM CG is a must.
- Negotiation Skills.
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Giza Resident (Specially 6 October City)
- Must have strong follow up skills.
- Very Good computer skills.
- Time management skills and the ability to deliver to deadlines.
