Job Description
- Analyzes maintenance costs and provide recommendations on fleet utilization and replacement.
- Tracks fleet usage and maintain accurate inventory of equipment.
- Assists in the development of maintenance budget by providing input relative to policy, costs and established metrics.
- Ensures the maintenance records for fleet are accurate and up-to-date.
- Negotiates service agreements to ensure cost efficiencies.
- Completes performance reviews of staff and jointly determine areas of development and training requirements.
- Communicates maintenance requirements to ensure maximum efficiency and implement correction actions as required.
- Participates in the recruitment and selection of maintenance personnel as required.
- Identifies maintenance employee training requirements and ensure successful completion.
- Prepares various reports for the Top Management.
Job Requirements
- BSc of Automotive Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in a truck fleet management role.
- Deep knowledge of Fleet Quality & Safety Standards
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team orientation.
- Strong Computer skills with experience using MS Office and fleet management systems.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
