Job Description
Reports to:
- Operations Manager
Purpose:
- Responsible for supervising and developing the production process to achieve the maximum efficiency, productivity, decrease the material loss and meet the production plans.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Receives the productions plans from the Operations Manager and put it into action
- Supervises on all the production phases starting from the received raw materials till the final product is stored.
- Manages the all the available resources from raw materials and co-workers to achieve the best possible productivity.
- Improves the production process by determining and solving the weak points, bottlenecks and inappropriate practices in the current process.
- Coordinates with the Quality Control Specialist and Operations Manager to minimize the loss in both raw materials and time.
- Prepares regular production reports and presents them to the Management.
Working Conditions:
- Six Days a week
Job Requirements
Minimum education requirement:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production or equivalent
Experience:
- Five to Seven years of experience as Production Engineer
- Experience in Food Production is a must and preferably in snacks
Skills:
- Excellent Leadership Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Very Good Problem-Solving Skills
- Good level of English Language.
- Good knowledge of all MS. Applications (Word, Excel)
