Job Description
- We are looking for creative technology enthusiast with a passion for evolving technologies, impact, community building and crafting stories with engaging content.
- Our ideal candidate is a creative marketing hustler with strong written, verbal, and video communication skills, up to date with the latest in technologies and have a knack for distilling complex topics into simple, engaging content. Your main responsibility will be creating content for a number of different platforms to engage with our community.
Responsibilities:
- Develop overall content strategy and editorial plans for our different digital platforms
- Create compelling storylines that can be easily turned into content assets and delivered throughout social and digital media channels
- Editorial requirements include maintaining the editorial calendar, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement.
- Ensure content development aligns with SEO and SEM requirements
- Establish best practices for digital channels - which content and approaches work on each channel and why
- Establish the clear voice of content to ensure consistency in execution of content and alignment with our brand voice, style and tone.
- Manage the local events content calendar and ensure a relevant content build up prior to the events
- Research and collect data trends in disruptive technologies.
Job Requirements
About you:
- 2-4 years of experience in online content creation and management
- Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience
- Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
- Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders
- Creative thinking, ample curiosity, adaptability and keen interest the world of new evolving technologies
- Experience developing and implementing tactical and strategic plans to build, motivate, encourage, and moderate online/offline communities.
- Strong English writing and copywriting skills with verbal communications skills
- Knowledge of HTML & design tools is a great advantage.
- Flexibility, availability and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of various evolving technologies is a plus
- Interest in researching and developing content on future trends and technology innovations
