Job Description
- Our company imports yarn and chemicals and exports fabrics.
- It converts yarn into colored fabrics (knitting and dying).
- You will start as a Yarn Purchasing Manager.
- The company imports all yarn and has its approved vendor list.
- You need to familiarize yourself with the terms and conditions with each vendor, kind of yarn that the company imports, and agreed prices.
- Your role will involve liaise with sales and production, in order to ensure that materials arrive to the factory in the right time, so as to fulfill customer orders.
- You will have to maintain records to track each purchase order.
- You have a growth potential to supervise the supply chain including purchasing and stock control in liaison with sales. This is Commercial Manager role.
Job Requirements
- English is a must as the boss is British and suppliers are not in Egypt.
- You need to have practiced purchasing and commercial management for at least three years.
- You need to have very good computer skills, especially Excel.
- Commitment to deadline is so important.
- Analytical skills and reporting skills are necessary.
- It is preferred that you have worked in a textile manufacturing company before.
