Job Description
- Develop, educate and reinforce safety guidelines and protocol in all supply chain processes.
- Lead and Provide Guidance, training and development to Supply Chain Team.
- Create supply chain management strategies that increase efficiency and speed.
- Handle communications and negotiations with external supplier.
- Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
- Optimize warehouse functions.
- Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution.
- Develop material costs forecasts or standard cost lists.
- Assess appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials.
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.
- Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
- Conduct Risk Management for supply contracts and agreements and build control measures in case of any un-expected failure or non-conformity.
- Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in supply chain management, logistics or engineering degree with proven experience as a Supply Chain manager.
- Master degree in business Administration is required.
- 13+ year in Supply Chain operations with minimum 5 years in leadership role.
- Experience in collecting, analyzing data and setting strategies and plans for Supply chain function..
