Job Description
- Develop HSEF policy and procedures by interpreting HSEF legal requirements and standards
- Anticipate and prevent hazardous conditions.
- Drive behaviours preventing illnesses in workplace and drive all medical insurance procedures for new joiners and employees
- Support HSEF inspections and audits
- Investigate incidents, determine root cause and develop corrective actions.
- Execute environmental management processes such as chemicals and waste management and pollution prevention.
- Handle industrial hygiene, equipment protection, machine guarding and other health and safety programs.
- Follow up implementation of emergency response procedures
- Follow up the maintenance programs for all safety systems and equipment.
- Conduct HSEF training for all employees to increase safety awareness
- Ensure that risk assessments for activities with a high potential for loss are completed before work commences.
- Prepare weekly and monthly HSEF reports.
- Conduct safety briefing for new arrival personnel
- Weekly inspection for all logistic equipment such as company cars.
- Follow up procedure of confined space entry such as Electroplating area
- Ensure workers wear protective outfits and use tools safely
- Report all incidents of HSEF violations and take immediate action in prevention and take disciplinary action
- Regulate the maintenance in accordance with the instructions of civil defence, safety and occupational health.
- Provide suggestions and new ideas for increasing the level of safety and occupational health in the factory.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in science or engineering or equivalent with additional professional qualifications in HSE and Fire & Safety Management Systems.
- Good command of professional and scientific English.
- Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety.
- OSHA International (Occupational Safety and Health Act) certified preferred.
