Job Description
- To supervise and control all reception staff.
- Organize duty rosters, ensuring that there is sufficient staff to cover all duties, particularly during peak period business and to arrange a stand-by in case of illness or absenteeism.
- Be available during check-in periods to deal with any problems or complaints.
- Ensure that reception staffs are dressed in the correct uniform and that their appearance enhances the image of the hotel.
- Ensure that guests are greeted "with a smile" and that all registration formalities are correctly completed, paying particular attention to charge-out details and credit rules.
- Liaise with reservations and pre-allocate rooms, bearing in mind the preferences of regular and VIP patient.
- Ensure co-operation and helpfulness with all front office and housekeeping departments.
- Ensure that the patient list register is updated regularly during the day and that copies are sent to the appropriate departments, Marketing, Finance, and Patient Accounting. etc.
- Liaise closely with the housekeeping department on check outs, moves, etc.
- Arrange alternative suitable accommodation, for a confirmed or regular doctor, if the hospital is fully occupied.
- Ensure maximum room occupancy in line with agreed policy on overbookings.
- Hold regular performance appraisals with all reception staff, identifying areas for development and training needs.
- Carry out regular on-the-job training with all reception staff to ensure that they perform their duties correctly to company standards and that the training needs identified in the performance appraisals are done.
- Report any faults or defects to the maintenance department.
- Be totally security conscious at all times and ensure that effective procedures are in operation (Codes like Blue code, Yellow...etc.)
- Analyzing data to identify areas of improvement in order to increase efficiency and decrease wait times
- Coordinating with insurance companies to receive pre-certification for treatment plans
- Providing information about the facilities services and offerings to patients and other customers in need of care
- Ensuring that all patient records are accurate and kept up to date,
- Coordinating with physicians and other staff members to ensure that patients’ needs are met throughout their stay at the facility
- Managing patients’ accounts to ensure that all charges are billed correctly and timely
- Ensuring that patient records are stored securely and are accessible only to authorized personnel
- Reviewing eligibility for healthcare coverage programs to determine if applicants qualify for coverage
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in any Relevant Field, Medical background is preferable
- Males Only
- Max Age : 42
- Very Good command of both written and spoken English
- Very Good in MS Office
- Experience from 5 to 10 years in Healthcare field
- Excellent Communication skills
