Job Description
BHA Egypt is looking for a talented and energetic “Information And Communication Officer”
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and ensure a flow of good stories out of case studies produced by the Brooke-veterinarians and making sure that quality pictures accompany the stories.
- Manage Brooke Egypt social media channels (website, Facebook ... etc.) including content updates to ensure consistency with Brooke branches.
- Handle complaints and comments from supporters and the media, prepare timely responses with factual evidence.
- Develop communication materials such as brochures.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Education: University degree in journalism or communication. Or 2-3 years of work experience in media relations, public information and journalism or any relevant field, experience with NGO is an advantage.
- Very good writing skills (storytelling) in both Arabic and English: capable of writing under deadline pressure and ability to respond quickly to a multitude of tasks.
- Able to produce good-quality reports, publications, presentations … etc.
- Strong communication and social skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel), Adobe Photoshop and PageMaker is an advantage.
- Affinity with the charitable goal of the Brooke-organization.
