- We are looking for a Senior Software Tester responsible for the testing of our joigifts.com online gifting platform. Platform consists of desktop and mobile websites and iOS and Android applications.
- Your primary focus will be the testing of staging and production versions of our code to ensure the best customer experience for our e-commerce business.
- You will work directly with our team of engineers to debug our software and with our business team to list their bugs and issues and ensure they are addressed rapidly. You will be reporting directly to the CTO.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of software development to be able to effectively communicate with engineers
- Candidates should be highly ambitious and solid team players. All applicants must be ready to start within 2 weeks of an offer.
- Deep understanding of customer behavior to be able to generate and test different usage scenarios
- Detail orientation and process driven problem solving to ensure no bug goes unsolved
- Ability to prioritize bugs and issues to have them addressed according to their value to the business
- Knowledge of software testing automation and the ability to automate joi’s software testing
- Energy and Attitude: High energy, positive with a can-do attitude matching our startup culture
- Work Experience: 3+ years in software testing having tested multiple complex software systems from concept to launch and refinement. Having done automated software testing is a plus. Having developed object oriented code is a plus
- Communication Skills: Highly capable and efficient communicator in written and spoken English with ability to work with remote business teams using tools such as Slack
- Problem Solving: Analytical and process-driven with the ability to think and perform both tactically and strategically
- Team Work and Leadership: Able to work side-by-side with a broad range of functions
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher
