Job Description
- We are looking for an outstanding PHP developer with at least 2 years of experience. The candidate needs to be comfortable managing and leading juniors, be target oriented and comfortably work in a dynamic, young, fast-paced and ambitions boutique software studio.
- The candidate will be responsible for the coding and security of the backend and API functionality in the app we built. You will work closely with the CTO and the rest of the agile team to deliver new features.
Responsibilities
- Develop, record and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications
- Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User (UX) team
- Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools
- Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues
- Writing and understanding object-oriented PHP
- Manage juniors in your team whenever needed
- Goal and target oriented, with the ability to focus and work under pressure

Skills/Qualifications
- You have a bachelor of Computer Science or related. You are a quick learner and team player. You want to establish yourself while building and growing and learning from an amazing team.
- PHP, MySQL, MariaDB, Git, Git Flow, REST, Relay, GraphQL
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of OOP standards
- Excellent knowledge about Threading and memory management
- Experience with caching using local storage
- Experience with Jira.
- Experience with writing test-cases and make sure they pass before committing to Git
- You care deeply about the design of the product
- You have a deep understanding for mobile app’s infrastructure
- You have good knowledge in playing around with APIs and advanced security practices
- Experience with Laravel 5 PHP Framework
- Experience with SQL schema design
- Open minded to new solutions, forward thinking and strong ability to adapt
- GitFlow version control workflows
- Proficiency in design patterns
- Basic or better knowledge of Symfony components
- REST API design
- Software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat)
- MySQL profiling and query optimization
