Job Description
- Develop the project Deliverables/Scope of Work, WBS, Key Dates & Milestones, and all required Tasks/Activities & Targets.
- Allotment of available Resources to various phases of the project.
- Plan and schedule the project by developing the Project Master Schedule in line with the proposal requirements through the application of the primavera P6 software.
- Prepare detailed Baseline Schedule (Rev. 00) for the project based on the confirmed Project Master Schedule and Contract Requirements.
- Implement the work schedule and Monitor Progress of the work through preparation of daily/weekly/monthly Reports on a regular basis.
- Anticipate and resolve any bottlenecks/scheduling conflicts to achieve on time or earlier deliveries to keep the project on-track.
- Participate in Project Meetings and discussions with the Clients as required.
- Prepare Updated Work Schedules, Updated Cash Flow Plans and Updated Resources Plans showing actual progress and identify areas of weakness and establishes means and methods for recovery, if any, as well as new critical activities.
- Functionally report to the Snr. Planning Engineer and/or Project Controls Manager
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when directed by the Supervisor.
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in project planning and detailed scheduling for all aspects of engineering.
- Bachelor Degree in Civil or Electrical & Machine Engineering from a recognized University
- Primavera course version 6 or later version (is an advantage)
- PMP‐Project Management Professional (is an advantage).
