Job Description
You role is to maintain information technology strategies by managing staff; researching and implementing technological strategic solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
- Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data center.
- Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
-Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations - Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
- Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
Job Requirements
- Bsc in Computer Engineering or relevant fields.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Good communications skills - written and verbal
- Understanding of complex information and requirements
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
- Expertise in data centre management and data governance
