Job Description
- Conduct Route Survey with Obstacle identification and maneuvers studies.
- Equipment selection based on Route survey, cargo dimensions, and equipment availabilty.
- Prepare Method Statement for the whole operation.
- Set Risk Assessment report for the operation.
- Full tracking of the transport with documentation till the end of execution.
- Equipment Maintenance.
- Cargo Plan Study (Jacking and pulling points identification)
- Setting skidding design based on the operation study.
Job Requirements
- Attention to Detail
- Mechanical Skills: Heavy equipment mechanics will need familiarity with parts and components of complex machinery and engines, as well as the tools to fix them.
- Technical Skills: Heavy equipment mechanics will need to be familiar with electronics, be able to read blueprints, or use electronic diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot repairs.
- Manual Dexterity
- Troubleshooting Skills: Heavy equipment mechanics need to be able to look at mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems, identify problems, and think about possible solutions.
