Description
- To support the RE Transaction Management Team, the analyst will perform financial analysis and modeling for corporate real estate transactions to determine present and future financial performance for potential real property leases, fee simple acquisitions, allocation methodology and other capital projects (including NPV, lease versus buy, IRR).
- Prepare models and presentation materials for senior management used to obtain approvals. Gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for real property acquisitions and leases and capital project financial plans in order to secure internal approvals.
- Assists with a variety of real estate, construction and facilities functions where required.
- Collaborate with Apple business partners to improve current business processes, innovate new reporting tools, and roll out key initiatives.
- The Analyst will also support the Workplace Space Planning Team to develop and document global portfolio metrics, identify data gaps between various systems (space and real estate), validate and align portfolio data across systems, develop and provide monthly portfolio reporting and assist with the data collection & creation of an international supply and demand gap report.
- The analyst will assist with the analysis of data and creation of reports relating to strategic planning, portfolio management, occupancy tracking and space utilization.
- The analyst will also assist in creating ad hoc requests and will be responsible to develop presentations in Keynote for an executive audience.
- As required, the analyst will also be responsible for providing back-up duties to the Space Planning Team with data entry in the Tririga Space Management module and any other related systems.
Job Requirements
Education
- BA/BS in Business, Finance or Real Estate
- Masters degree in business administration, real estate finance, or data analytics/statistics preferred
Key Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Demonstrated use of skills as a seasoned experienced real estate professional with full understanding of industry practices, capital markets and company policies and procedures to resolve a wide range of issues in innovative as well as practical ways.
- Strong experience with creating complex financial models in Excel, as well as proficiency in Numbers, Pages and Keynote required
- Space planning and portfolio analyst experience strongly recommended
- Experience with TriRiga is preferred
