Job Description
- Design, develop and unit test new features, enhancements, and interfaces for APEX web application
- Drive consistent quality practices through all your work and in major new functionality
- Conduct design and code walk-through
- Address issues related to system stability, scalability, performance, and security
- Prioritize and multi-task simultaneous input work streams to help meet researcher and administrator demands for excellence
- Mentor and lead junior developers
Job Requirements
- Expert skill level (3+ yrs) with Oracle’s Application Express framework (APEX)
- Strong Oracle database development experience including SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning etc.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS, and JSON
- Experience with JQuery JavaScript library
- Experience in using Object Oriented Design Techniques
- Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, MIS or related field or equivalent experience
