Job Description

  • To be responsible for answering incoming calls and dealing with patients’ requests for information/inquiries/appointments effectively.
  • Provides patients with appointments based on a pre-set appointment schedule.
  • Initiates registration procedures for booked patients after obtaining patients’ medical record number through creating/ editing patients’ files.
  • Responsible for the administrative actions for the patient’ medical record.
  • Prepares medical record for any attending patient.
  • Make available any additional format needed to the medical record.
  • Keeps all related reports/documents in the patient’s fill.
  • Receives consultants’ notifications/ excuses and reschedule patients’ accordingly.
  • Notifies patients with subsequent appointment changes if needed.
  • Confirms consultants’ availability through contacting all physicians scheduled for following day clinics through phone and through SMS service.
  • Dealing with insurance companies regarding patients’ approvals.
  • Receives payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
  • Writes medical reports for patients upon physicians’ instructions.
  • Handle and arrange patient’s medical records.
  • Prepare daily reports of the incoming revenues to be reviewed by the Finance Operation Supervisor.
  • Prepare a daily schedule of incoming patients and send it to all employees and anesthesiologists.
