Job Description
- Participates in setting the manpower-plan, (personnel planning and recruiting), Discuss manpower needs according to business objectives.
- Follows up and coordinate with recruitment channels (recruitment agencies, newspapers, recruitment websites, social media and etc.). Source out labor category from local market.
- Screens CVs, selects and short lists potential candidates.
- Executes pre-screening, final phone/face to face interviews for all levels.
- Follows up and coordinates with recruitment channels (recruitment agencies, newspapers, recruitment websites, and etc.). Source out labor category from local market.
- Coordinates with departments for technical interviews & ensure effectiveness of the recruitment plan.
- Submits candidates’ offers and follows up until placing.
- Records candidate’s data in UCMENA HR System, to be able to locate candidate’s data easily.
- Creates & updates all recruitment forms.
- Creates a pool of qualified CVs in advance of need.
- Handles onboarding process through sending welcome letters for newly hired, conducting a monthly orientation session to all UCMENA employees (White Collars, Blue Collars).
Organizational Development
- Carries out organization assessments, makes recommendations for change, helps design new structures and jobs, and works to redesign management processes to meet quality standards.
- Understands of company goals, systems and strategies to maximize efficiency in the workplace.
- Designs and deliver OD and change HR management strategies, processes and interventions that support UCMENA to be a high performing organization.
- Monitors job evaluation system, advising on job design, job descriptions and the job grading.
- Conducts Meetings with Line Managers and Job holders in order to update current Job Descriptions and make sure it is compatible with current handled responsibilities.
- To contribute to the development of policies and procedures in collaboration with the HR Manager.
Training & Development
- Identifies and assess training needs of staff by conferring with managers and supervisors and ending with preparing training cards for all UCMENA employees.
- Prepares annual training plan covering all UCMENA training and development needs for the year.
- Selects and assign instructors and service providers to conduct training. (Assess the training providers).
- Produce training materials for in-house courses as appropriate. Amends and revise materials as necessary, in order to adapt to changes that occur.
- Facilitates the execution of all training plans, and coordinates for all training sessions.
- Monitors training costs to ensure budget limits, and prepare budget reports to justify expenditures.
- Periodically, evaluates training effectiveness (ROI), regular assessment of the training feedback on the employee performance.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Participates in updating UCMENA salary structure and ensures compatibility with market average.
- Assists in conducting employee’s surveys’ to measure level of satisfaction inside UCMENA and request needed changes to create better environment for employees.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor degree in business administration or related field
- HR Diploma is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in HR filed, preferably with a reputable FMCG company.
