Job Description
- The Accountant performs professional accounting work by applying principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare settlement of NEXTCARE payable accounts according to accounting control procedures.
- This role has the over-all responsibility to coordinate activities in an effective and efficient manner that will ensure that NEXtCARE payable and reimbursements to insurance companies are paid within established time limits.
- Responsible for initiate all bank transaction ( Checks, transfers, draft checks ) for A/P
- Settlement of providers PO's & issuance of checks and transfers
- Maintain the control of D.B customer deposits
- Handle daily providers calls & visits
- Participate in monthly closing.
Work Conditions:
- Ideally, work will be in an ordinary office environment. On unique circumstances, might require longer working hours than 8:00 am – 5:00 pm normal working day. Occasional travel may be involved owing to the nature of work.
Job Requirements
- Relevant University Degree.
- 2+ years of experience as an accountant.
- Experience gained in a TPA, BPO, Hospitals or Medical Centers is an added advantage.
- Employment status: Legally permitted to work in the country of operation.
- Physically fit to carry out duties and responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Access, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, and general Internet and research skills).
